I’m Tara Grímravn—writer, editor, and lifelong devotee of shadows.
My work lives where horror, dark fantasy, and speculative fiction converge. I’m currently the Assistant Editor for Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores, and my stories and poetry have appeared in anthologies and online publications. For example, one of my more recent works, “A Goddess’s Lament,” was featured in the 2021 collection Into the Mirror: A Literary Collection.
At present, I’m deep in the underworld of my debut dark fantasy trilogy, Beneath a Red Hunter’s Moon, with the first volume planned for release in late fall 2025.
From spectral folklore to whispered terrors, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling’s shadowed corners. There’s a kind of magic in darkness—a truth told slant, a mirror held to our fears and desires. Through fiction, we trace the edges of the unknown and find the flicker of firelight waiting inside.
Alongside writing, I’ve worked as a staff reviewer for Tangent Online and continue to support emerging voices in speculative fiction—both through editorial work and my own platform, Graven Ink, where I share ASMR readings, reviews, and interviews dedicated to the art of dark storytelling.
My mission is twofold: to share the stories that haunt me… and to help you discover those that will haunt you, too.
